Wildlife mammals in Saudi Arabia

There are other wild mammals in Saudi Arabia which has special desert adaptation. E.g. the Arabian wolf which is smaller and has longer limbs. The Arabian Oryx has horns like that of a goat, has black marks on the face that protect it from the hot sun and is three feet tall. The Oryx is helpful to wolves and human being as a source of food and due to this fact it had become extinct if it was not for zoos that were able to breed them back to the wild. The mongoose has short legs and their function is to dig holes for hunting and staying. It feed on insects and birds. It can be kept as a pet. There is the Fennec fox which is about two pounds and has big ears with thick fur to protect it from the sun. It also has big ears which protect it from the heat and act as protection from predators.
