National animals in Saudi Arabia

Animals in Saudi Arabia are more deadly and tough than other countries animals due to the harsh climatic conditions in the country. Although the climate is not conducive at all and plant life is very low and there no rivers, Saudi Arabia has more animal life than expected.  Examples of animals in Saudi Arabia are: griffon vulture, horned viper, Arabian black snake, scorpions, barracuda camel and many more. The dromedary camel is most common in this country because it is created in a unique way to survive in the harsh conditions of the desert. It has humps to store fat which are later broken into fluids hence helping it to go for weeks without water. The same camel has the ability to close its nostrils for some time, and thus protects it from blowing sand and also have two layers of eyelashes hence it is protected from sand and sun.
