Extravagant lifestyle in Saudi Arabia

The wealthy individual and the royal Al Saudi Arabia family have recently been under high scrutiny for their luxurious lives on expense of poor locals. They have been accused of exporting oil and using money for their own needs instead of using the money to improve the lives of Saudis. As the gap widens then more people realizes the amount that the royal big family uses. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is among the richest people in the world according to Forbes magazines. He owns mansions, yachts and lives extravagant lifestyle. About $2b a year is used to pay the children and grandchildren of the Royal family. Ironically Saudi Arabia is not energy independent even with all the high oil at its disposal. There are even news going around that in the next 25 years the kingdom will be among the oil importer because of high usage of oil.
