Although it's famous with the ancient traditions that are still alive and religious culture, Saudi Arabia is not the dark country you may imagine. Actually, the biggest country of the Arabian Peninsula offers interesting ways of getting fun including a number of attractive festivals and ceremonies. The year in Saudi Arabia is saturated with different kind of events every month. For example, in January they honour Abraham with an event called Eid Al Adha famous with sheep's and other animals sacrifice.
When the spring is knocking on the door in March and you have decided to visit Saudi Arabia then you'll be happy to get introduced with its traditions in the best way through the first National Heritage and Folk Culture Festival. Called Jenadriyah, the celebrations continue 17 days and present the country in a wonderful way via incredible camel races, dances, poetry reading, etc.
