Middle Eastern Food Recipes, Chicken Kebobs

Food in the Middle East is just as beautiful as the location itself. Even as a newbie if you are trying to develop a taste I’m sure it’s a perfect delight for your taste buds. Whether you eating humus or chicken madfon the taste is great. Although some of the food offered in the restaurants is served in a big dish such as chicken madfon where you are served with a roasted chicken with a stack of boiled riced.  Majority of the meals in the Middle East is contain chicken or meat with a hint of vegetables and rice.  Now we take a look at some of the easy-to-cook recipes but delicious, as we let you give you knowledge about the Middle Eastern food. The idea is to enjoy, try and not to push hard much if at first even things don’t go right. Keep in mind that the quality chefs you see around today learned through their mistakes too.
Chicken Kebobs
Chicken kebobs are almost perfect.  Go and get the chopped chicken from the meat store near to your home to save time and instruct the butcher to cut the chicken as you want for the kebobs. For a more pleasant flavor try to add few vegetables which won’t cost you much on your budget. Now keep everything on a brochette, grille it and there you have a great looking scrumptious chicken kebobs.
Chicken kebabs have another name which is Shish Taouk. This simple recipe consists of flavouring and culinary guidelines for the chicken. For a better taste add vegetables to the brochette. In my view mushrooms green peppers and onions and even cucumber.
Making Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Period: 15 minutes
Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne
2 lbs cubed chicken breast
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
Preparation:
Take a medium-sized dish, mix all these ingredients together. Marinate the chicken for about 2-24 hours and keep it covered inside the fridge. Now put the chicken on the brochettes (5 pieces each). Grille for 15 minutes minimum or let it finish. Don’t not forget to turn brochettes while you cook.

Now serve the lovely chicken kebobs or shish taouk with a bowl of rice, salad and bread. Eat and have a delicious meal that fills your appetite well.
