Saudi Arabia is a kingdom located on the Arabia land. The country is predominately desert and vast of the majority are Muslims and Sharia. It is also home of the two of the holiest sites in Islam and cover cities Mecca and Medina. The official language is Arabic. As the Islamic empire the cities of Mecca and Medina have became major centers for learning and thought regarding not only the religion but also philosophy and the arts. The country is blend with Arab and Islamic culture and traditions. Saudi Arabia has different cultural and craft traditions that include basket making, weaving and jewelry making. The major part of Saudi culture is the hospitality and generosity for their guests. 

The events that are held in Saudi Arabia correspond to those in the Muslim religious calendar. The main time or event for the country is the month of Hajj, during which all Muslims from all over the world travel to Mecca and share their diversity in culture in this holy pilgrimage. During the month of Ramadan, you can see the vast culture and tradition associated with this month of fasting in Saudi Arabia. People in Saudi fast during the daylight hours and at the end celebrate the festival Eid al-Fitr by exchanging gifts and visit the residences of their friends and relatives. Among certain obligations for the people in Saudi Arabia, they pray five times a day during at dawn, noon, afternoon, sunset and evening. In the local newspapers, the exact time is listed and Friday is the Muslim holy day in Saudi Arabia. 

The culture associated with the Saudi Arabia follows the rules and regulations of Islam. Though the official language in the country is Arabic; however English is widely spoken and used in business conferences and events. Many people in the country also speak Urdu. For the dress code in Saudi Arabia strictly follows in the rules of Hijab.

Traditionally, men wear an ankle-length shirt woven from wool along with a large checkered square of cotton. In chilly days, Saudi men wear a camel-hair cloak over the top and for the women's clothes are fully decorated with tribal motifs, coins, sequins and metallic thread. They are required to wear an Abaya during their public visit or shopping. 

Saudi Arabia has experienced tremendous development in their culture and tradition. They adopt their customs, hospitality and dressing style to the modern world.
