Saudi Arabia kingdom is one with the strictest religious practices in the world. The laws which are amended must be fully observed. Failure to do this may lead someone to prison. As a teenager and a girl, life must be very hard in this country. They are too many laws that you are required to follow. In Saudi, there is a certain type of lifestyle that teenagers must live. This includes the type of dress to be worn.
Girls and women are expected to wear a black covering dress which covers the whole of their bodies excluding the face. Men are to dress in long white shirts with a head cover. To ensure that these practices are fully followed, Saudi Arabia has deployed religious police officer in every corner of this country. They are to ensure that teenagers dress as per the laws. These religious police officers are so strict that they would not let you break the law even if it is a matter of death. It is sad that they refused to let a teenager girl escape fire which was consuming the building she was because of her dress. The teenager girl died in the fire helplessly. This is very inhuman.
In Saudi Arabia, the lifestyle of teenager and girls is not that easy. Religious police officers are at their back every hour of the day to ensure that they don’t mix together.
They would segregate girls from boys at all cost. When it comes to other public activities, they would also ensure that women are not involved. They are there to ensure that prayer time is respected. They would enforce all shops to be closed during prayer hours and everybody attends the prayers excluding women. The teenagers and girls here have no freedom to choose which religion they want to belong in. Saudi Arabia is a Muslim state and there is no exception of that. You either be a Muslim or migrate to another county. In this county, whether a teenager or an adult, no criticism against the government is allowed. They believe that the government is always right. Thought lifestyle of Saudi Arabian teenagers and girls seems to be unbearable, there is a lot of freedom for the same sax. Girls would enjoy parties and hang around in the malls with their friends. The same ways boys would also enjoy their day including sky diving in the beaches.
