Make up and Beauty in Saudi Arabia

All girls and women in Saudi Arabia like to take care of themselves.
They really like to look nice and invest as much as possible in makeup and other beauty products, to enhance even more their natural beauties. Most Saudi Arabia women like to use makeup that is not too strong as they believe the more natural the best. They are already naturally beautiful therefore make up is only there to add a few touch ups here and there. The trend in the country is to apply soft colors that are as near the skin tone as possible. This will make the makeup look soft yet beautiful.

In Saudi Arabia girls start to wear make up at an early age. Some start when they are as young as 14 years old. Some like to hide their natural features by applying layer after layer of foundationto make their skin look paler. Some girls, on the other hand, love to wear the smoky eye makeup, that way they believe they will call more attention and show their personalities to everyone. Many girls also love to wear false eyelashes as having long lashes is a desire in most countries. It is common for girls to gather up at night to show their latest trends in makeup. Creating the famous smoky eye effect is a must do there at the moment.

In fact Saudi Arabia women are one of the top consumers of beauty products in the whole world. Several studies have proven that. Thanks to the continuously growing economy more stores available every single day. Women in Saudi Arabia spend more money on hair products and beauty services per capita more than any other country in the Middle East. It is common to see on social networking women exchanging beauty tips. Twitter and Facebook have thousands of beauty tricks shared by Saudi Arabia women. Females in Saudi Arabia spend much more time in the saloon than they spend in other places to have fun, such as malls and theaters. Some women can spend as much as $250 dollars in one single visit to the hairdresser. This is a very interesting fact, since in one side we have thousands of girls and women who dream to look even prettier, and at the other side we have radical clerics saying that they are distorting what God’s most beautiful creating was supposed to look like.
