Saudi Arabia Events and Festivals
There are a number of events and festivals held in Saudi Arabia throughout the year.  These Events and festivals are distributed equally in all months and at least every month from January to February there is an event or festival but not 2 events in a month. Below you will wind different events as they are organized in Saudi Arabia from January to December.
Early January in Saudi Arabia Saudi residents celebrates Sacrifice Festival which is well known as the “ Eid al Adha”. Eid al Adha is an event organized and celebrated in Saudi Arabia in remembrance of the Abrahama testing by God when God wanted him to offer a living sacrifice of Ismail the only son. Saudi Arabians come together and offer the living sacrifice which is normally animals as a gesture symbolic that was offered instead of Abrahams son. Eid al Adha is as well known as the new year for Islams which is in other words referred to as “Muharram” 
Eid al Adha
Otherwise known as the Festival of Sacrifice, Eid al Adha is a festival which remembers the time that God tested Abraham by asking him to sacrifice his son Ismail. During this time, the locals sacrifice sheep and other animals as a symbolic gesture of the sheep that Abraham offered after God declared Ishmael’s sacrifice unnecessary.

  • In February Saudi Arabians celebrate an event called Ashura based on the Faith of the Muslims. 
  • March every year Saudi Arabians come together to celebrate the  festival known as Festival of Jenadriyah which symbolizes the heritage of their first nationalism. 
  • April there is a powerful event to celebrate Muhammad.June there is Jeddah festival, September is another even known as Fair Book.  
  • On October Arabians celebrate the Ramadan end and this event is known as “ Eid al Fitr” 
  • November Saudi Arabians celebrate exhibitions on a festival called “ Riyadh Motor Show”.
