Dress code of foreigners in Saudi Arabia

The dress worn by the women of Saudi Arabia is known as Abayah. This is a full black cloth which is long enough to cover the whole body. The women have to cover their faces with Niqab.  The dress code of Saudi women is such conservative that other persons can hardly see their eyes and in some cases the women also wear a veil over their eyes. Any non-Muslim women living in Saudi Arabia also have to wear Abayah as it is the law of the country.
The dress code of foreigners are not that much strict like the locals. But they have to maintain the local trends and customs. So foreign men are not allowed to wear shorts in public and they have to wear long trousers and shirts. Foreign women can wear loose fitting skirts below the knee. They should wear dresses with at least elbow length sleeves.
