Employment in women’s lingerie stores in Suadi Arabia

To make things much more acceptable, Saudi Arabian Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Commerce has now decided to feminize employment in women’s lingerie stores. This means the element of apprehension is eliminated or at least minimized when a woman shops for something which is intimate to her and her body. So besides the e-shopping, now women can walk into a lingerie store, talk to a female salesperson with a sense of confidence and describe her needs without any feeling of awkwardness. A major step indeed towards the liberalization of women in terms of independence as well s employment!
Though in the Saudi Kingdom, making personal choices, employment of women and restrained nature of fair sex under the thumb of men is still a divisive topic, but it can’t be denied that this considerable shift is definitely a positive shift in the otherwise rigid ethos of Saudi Arabia, if not an end to what was considered a taboo.
