All the foreign national are subject to U.A.E. immigration laws which is complex and demanding. Transport of military equipment like weapon, weapon parts, handcuffs, and body armor is a violation of UAE law. Persons are arrested, and will face criminal penalties like imprisonment and deportation transporting such items.

Everyone residing or working in the UAE is required by the Government of the United Arab Emirates to possess a national identification card. Anyone travelling in the UAE is subject to its laws, and can be apprehended if you don't have your passport with you. Each Emirate has its  independent legal procedures, and persons violating Emirati laws are prohibited from travelling, their passports kept by local authorities for several periods of time.
