Arabian custom and tradition

The Arabian custom and tradition has its special character which differs after Islam. Islam is very significant to Arabians customs because it transform custom to the best. Poetry and poet are the refelections of Arab culture. A big market which is known as Okaz market opens an annual competition on poetry to people from Arab countries. Poets have the complete freedom to report their poem, and the interested parties listen with their own freewill. Famous poems which is known as " Elmoalakat" were hung on the wall of "Al Kaba" at Mecca.
In Arabic way greetings in time of meeting someone, " Assalamu Alaikum which means in English, " Peace be upon you ", and the response in Arabic language is " Wa Alaikum Assalam " which is in English, " and upon you too maybe peace". These are the great etiquette of greetings  others which have been referred to in the Qu'ran. One of the most notable etiquette is " do not talk in vain or boastful manner ". It leads one to misery or his downfall.
 Religious festivals is a very significant events for celebration. Eid al- Fitr is the festival which comes at the end of the month of Ramadan. In this festival, the Muslims celebrate fasting from dawn until sunset. Eid al - Adha is the festival of sacrifice, and the celebration begins on the tenth of " Dhu-l- Hijjah in which the pilgrimage is celebrated. In the life of the Muslims, these two festivals provide a significant impressions on the culture of the Muslim people.
 Religious festivals provide an improvement in human relationship. People are experiencing a deep emotional satisfaction of spiritual harmony, exchanging good wishes in a blessed atmosphere with love and mercy, and a new hope in life.
