There isn’t much casual and temporary work available in Saudi Arabia. Temporary and casual work might be available in driving, nursing, retail work during tourist season, courier services, bar staff in restaurants. On the other hand vast projects count the area of defense, IT, oil industry telecommunication, road systems, airports ports etc. Most of the causal and temporary work is done by Asians which includes Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis and Philippines .Most of the physical labor is done by Asians. Vast projects are in hands of westerners. The main areas where westerners work in Saudi Arabia are defense, healthcare, banking, oil industry etc. Many professionals believe that if westerners leave the country for any reason the economy of Saudi would come to a halt. Saudis are much satisfied to give large sums of money to others instead to working themselves. Although the huge salaries and unending benifits of 70's and 80's have been greatly reduced.
