Prophet Mohammed and religion of Islam, Saudi Arabia 

It is important to note that Prophet Mohammed and the religion of Islam have its roots deeply imbedded in the country. It is here, the Prophet was born, and it is here he gave his teachings. Mecca, the sacred city of Muslims, is situated here. Prophet Mohammed drafted an important part of Koran at this place. Every Muslim is supposed to visit the holy Mosque at least once in his lifetime.  Medina is yet another important pilgrimage site for Muslims. Prophet Mohammed formulated the remaining part of Koran here. Medina is also the burial ground of the Prophet, and one of the earliest mosques is located here. Although, Non-Muslims are not allowed to enter the holy Mosques but they can visit the towns and seek their relevance.
