Islamic obligation to visit Mecca and walk around the Ka’aba

Islamic obligation to visit Mecca and walk around the Ka’aba
The Ka’aba, which is in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, is the symbol that serves to remind all Muslims that they all have one Deity, Allah.  Because of that and for the simple reason that the Ka’aba is in Mecca, the city has for centuries and will be (into the indefinite future) be the world’s center of Islam.

It’s every Muslims obligation to visit Mecca and walk around the Ka’aba in an anti-clock-wise direction at least once in a life-time. It is believed that the ritual purifies one of sin in the long run but also gains them transient benefits which include but are not limited to commercial success, mate rial gain and so on. Since every Muslim wants to gain either the long-term or short-terms benefits of going on a Hajj to Mecca places Saudi Arabia firmly on the map of each Muslim (devout or not) not just as fancy travel spot but as their objective to fulfill the ultimate goal of every Muslim which is to go on a pilgrimage (or Hajj) to their holy city, “Mecca”.
