Beautiful children and families in the Middle East

There are a number of ways that MECA strive to assist these families and children, they do so through the form of direct aid which includes the distribution of medicines, medical supplies, food, school supplies and other items such as clothes, books and toys. Since their initial launch, they have been successful in sending more that $19 million in aid to the Middle East. There is also the matter of financial support which MECA also tries to do. This financial support is primarily given to the community organizations that are based in the West Bank and Gaza. Like MECA, these organizations are concerned about meeting the needs of the Palestinian children. These may include kindergartens, libraries, clinics, parks, teams and other programs such as music, art and dance. They also try to educate people on an international level on the lives of the children of the Middle East and how US policy affects them.
This non-profit organization’s aim is to get peace and justice for the children and families in the Middle East. They aim to do so in any way that they possibly can and make a meaningful mark in the lives of the children. The will do so through any medium that is most beneficial to the child whether through food, scholarships and medical help.

Middle East Children's Alliance

The Middle East Children’s Alliance, also known as MECA, is a no profit organization that works in the Middle East to fight for the rights of children. In an effort to achieve this goal, this organization has made it their duty to inform the international communities such as the United States on the effects of the US policy on the children that live in the Middle East. MECA also offers humanitarian aid and involves themselves in projects that are geared towards uplifting the youth. The organization was formed in the year 1988 by Howard Levine and Barbara Lubin. This was after a visit that Barbara made to Palestine and Israel after the first Intifada. What Barbara witnessed in these countries was poverty, injustice of the people and violence towards the locals. It was subsequent to witnessing this that Barbara teamed with Howard to be the voice of these children and undergo different projects in order to raise money to assist these children. They decided to do this in the West Bank and Gaza.
For the first two years that this organization was running, MECA led many delegations to Palestine. They were also very keen on assisting those cooperatives that were headed by women in West Bank and Gaza that were aimed at providing food. They also organized a few demonstrations that were greatly geared towards the ending of the US support of Israel. MECA was also the organizer of educational events that were intended to educate and inform about Palestine. On their first shipment to Palestine, the organization included warm clothes and baby formula. Although the organization is based in Berkeley, California, they support the children and families in Iraq, Lebanon and Palestine.

Dubai currency vs Philippine peso

The United Arab Emirates Dirham is the only currency being used in the UAE. Dubai is one of the Emirates and that is why it also uses the UAE dirham as the Dubai currency.  The symbol of the currency is written AED or DH. The Philippine peso is the currency being used in Philippines, the symbol for the Philippines currency is PHP which can also be written as P. it is also important to note that the United Arab Emirates Dirham is normally divided into 100 fils while the Philippine Peso is also divided into 100 centavos. United Arab Emirates Dirham exchange rate was last updated on December 2013 from the International monetary fund.  You will also note that the same month and year the Philippine peso exchange rate was also updated by the international monetary fund.

If you are visiting Dubai from Philippine or any other part of the country you can exchange any currency in Dubai at any bank, their also other money changers stores that can help in currency exchanges.  As you have noted Dubai does not have any currency restrictions, so any shoppers visiting can exchange any currency without having to go through a long process as you will get money changers at any site ready to help you. Travelers should also note that certain coins being used in Philippines are easily confused with the Dubai currency as they are of the same size with the UAE dirham coin.
The history of the Dubai currency started as early as 1959 until 1966 when all the Emirates were using the Gulf rupee. The Gulf rupee was being issued by the bank of India as well as being pegged as the Indian rupee. During the 1966 devaluation the Dubai riyal was choose as the Dubai currency. As the time went by the emirates also established a currency which is the UAE dirham which is being used to date in Dubai.  Printing of money in Dubai as well as issuing of the currency is the work of the banking department of its central bank of the United Arab Emirates which is located in Abu Dhabi. Bank notes are mostly printed in France. You will also note that the bank note has a falcon watermark and at the same time has some cutting –edge which acts as security marking in order to minimize any forgery. Culture and Tradition in the Arab Countries

Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest Muslim Country. It is situated in West Asia and it’s the second largest state of the Arab world. As this is a Muslim country, its culture is strictly based on Islamic traditions. The general dress code of Saudi Arabia is similar to the other Arab countries.
The general dress code of Saudi Arabia is also based on Islamic culture and traditions. As Islam encourages conservative dresses for men and women, the dress code of Arab countries follow the Islamic dress codes. Women have to wear conservative and loose fitting clothes and veils. Men also have to wear proper dresses to cover their body. They have to follow the principles of hijab.
Men of Saudi Arabia are seen to wear long clothes mainly white colored long dresses inside and pajamas.  The ankle length dress worn by the men of Saudi Arabia is known as Thawb. The traditional headdress worn by the Arab men are known as Ghutrah, which is fastened by Agal.
The dress worn by the women of Saudi Arabia is known as Abayah. This is a full black cloth which is long enough to cover the whole body. The women have to cover their faces with Niqab.  The dress code of Saudi women is such conservative that other persons can hardly see their eyes and in some cases the women also wear a veil over their eyes. Any non-Muslim women living in Saudi Arabia also have to wear Abayah as it is the law of the country.
The dress code of foreigners are not that much strict like the locals. But they have to maintain the local trends and customs. So foreign men are not allowed to wear shorts in public and they have to wear long trousers and shirts. Foreign women can wear loose fitting skirts below the knee. They should wear dresses with at least elbow length sleeves.

What is the Common Dress Code in Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia is one of the most tightly controlled countries in the world, and holds one-fourth of the world’s oil reserves. Home of the two most holy places in Islam, Mecca and Medina, it is ruled by the House of Saud since its recognition in 1932. It has a prosperous society due mainly to oil exports.
Being an Arab and an Islamic country, traditional values and cultural practices are adapted into the legal prohibitions, which is applicable even to non-Muslims who are in Saudi Arabia. Non-Muslims are forbidden from publicly practicing their faith, although they are free to do so in the privacy of their own homes. Alcoholic beverages and pork products are prohibited. Foreigners are expected to follow local custom especially in public places. Dress should be in accordance with Islamic laws, and is closely monitored by the religious police who are responsible for the enforcement of the dress code.
Saudi men wear the traditional dress called “thobe” that cover the entire body with a checkered head cloth called “keffiyeh.” This flowing robe-like traditional dress is worn white- or light-colored in warm weather and dark-colored in cool weather. Regardless of occupation and social standing, all Saudi men wear a “thobe.”  A “thobe” and head covering may seem to be lot clothing, but they are ideal for Saudi Arabia’s dry climate, and as a protection from sandstorms.
Women must not wear clothes that reveal anything about her body. They wear in public the black-colored, full-body “abaya” and the black headpiece called “niqab” which covers the entire face and body, leaving a small slit opening for the eyes.
Although foreign men are not required to wear a “thobe” and a headdress, they must wear conservative clothes. The standard dress code for foreign men is long trousers and long-sleeved shirts. Foreign women are required to wear an “abaya” with or without a headpiece. Although the wearing of a headpiece is optional, it is better to bring one along to avoid harassment from the religious police or as a means of avoiding the attention of aggravated men.

Saudi Arabia is moving towards Modernization

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is known by many around the world as a kingdom that observe certain culture due to their religion such as job specification between men and women. There are jobs which are described to be for men and other women, one of these jobs is supermarket cashiers who are all women. This is changing slowly and the government is determined to change the opinion of the public. Women are not supposed to drive.
Further steps to modernize the Kingdom such as University where male and female students share the same class have been done by King Abdullah. He also gave a green light to media to openly raise concern on economic problems and criticize decisions made by the ruling council. Women were allowed to pursue higher degrees and compete for top jobs. Those who opposed his decision were fired.
King Abdullah gained control of fatwas and answers to any question will be given by official panel on how the Saudis are supposed to live. Independent Sheiks among them Sheik Adel Al-kalbani have been in record in challenging the ban of music arguing that as long as a song does not promote sin the there is no need to ban it from playing in the local medias.
They also eliminated Trans-border Migration and large scale importation of labor which has helped to the youth to be employed in the private sectors. Many cities of the kingdom are in urban area.
In 2007 Grand Mufti urged the youth not to join jihad in Iraq or any other country. The kingdom was under attack consistence attacks from the Al-Qaeda but the clerics never accepted or approved the “Holy War”.
Free media is among the key area that Saudi Arabia is using in moving to modernization, top official Sheikh Saleh lost his job as the Chief of the supreme Judiciary Council after a fatwa in 2008 where he said that the owners of TV stations that showed immoral content to the public should be killed. His firing was seen as due to influence of the billionaires who own the TV stations. The most important thing is that Saudi Arabia is opening up it is not like old days.

Forex (FX) is by definition, the market in which trade of currencies will occur. Of all the markets in the world, the Forex market is by and large the most liquid of the markets. Forex is inclusive of all the currencies of the world and sees a figure of over $1.9 trillion being traded on a day to day basis. This makes it the largest market on an international level, based on the level of money that exchanges hand every day, in every country and by a vast amount of firms and individuals. There is no main place in which a trade will occur. Forex is one of the few trading avenues that almost never sleep, having exchanges being done 24 hours a day and five days a week. What this involves is the buying and selling of orders for financial securities and currencies through the use of the broker’s internet based trading platform. This form of Forex trading became increasingly popular in the mid to late 90’s. There is generally no limitation on what can be traded. World's third laziest nation, Saudi Arabia

It can be shocking news to hear that Saudi Arabia is among the nations that are laziest regardless of the fact that it is known to have plenty of natural resources. World wide, Saudi Arabia has been shortlisted to be among the top three slothful nations. Also, research shows that over sixty percent of grown up people in Saudi Arabia neglect doing exercise which are important to physical healthy growth. In turn, we all know that an active body and a healthy one will motivate the person to work hard and not just desire to always sit down and relax. That is called laziness.
According to a certain published data, in Saudi Arabia you will find out that a very small percentage of people especially women stay active all the way through their life span. Why? We all know that in this kingdom females have limited access to their rights.
The fact that Saudi Arabia is rich in natural  resources has highly contributed towards the laziness of locals who reside there. Everyone does not struggle to put a meal on a table and this turns persons mean to be dormant. But regardless of the fact that Saudi Arabia is rich in natural wealth should not make its people to sit  back and become lazy. Like for women, why should they just concentrate with household works and once they are done all the other hours of the day they are just idle. I think Saudi kingdom should come to a point of making a decision and come up with several activities which will make the people of the land be active always and stop being lazy. Remember, laziness can lead to certain ailments and also, as the saying goes “ a idle and lazy mind/body is the devils workshop”
Saudi kingdom, let's work on eliminating the famous laziness.

Saudi Arabian women unveiled, Muslim Young Girls

As we all know that Saudi Arabian women live under a certain law based on their tradition and religion. Americans has known a lot in Saudi Arabia and as it is known to be the best leading land for natural resources especially petroleum, this fact lead most outsiders to engage themselves with Saudi for trade.
The only thing that worries and catches attention of the United States of America when it comes to trading with Saudi Arabians especially with Saudi Arabian women if the freedom differences for these ladies. At the level of the gut, this not only bothers United States but it bothers all people worldwide. It hurts to come across women who lack freedom and their rights regardless of whether it be their believe to their kingdom. But to Saudi Arabia it is hard to come across unveiled women because at the very early age they are trained to be always on the long sleeved veil.
As a Saudi Arabian woman there is a possible to free yourself from any kind of slavery and wake up your fellow women. Not all women in Saudi Arabia are still connected to veil tradition. There are some who were born into this and were raised in the culture but at some point they decide to stand firm on their feet and now they are free and can do all things women of other countries are doing including car driving which has been forbidden for Saudi Arabian women. Find Saudi Arabian women unveiled and you will wonder why do they veil themselves hiding all their beauty. We can all come together and help our fellow women to come out such slave.
There are more challenges facing Saudi Arabian women but once one see a chance to disconnect themselves from it, life is more mobile and more enjoyable. Saudi Arabia women unveiled can really do a lot. They can be reliable and start their own businesses, own their own cars and drive them without mans security and can achieve much in life. All needed for Saudi Arabian women is freedom for their rights and success will follow and changed women will be seen.
