Pakistan also preserves near interaction with the Islamic nations of the Center Eastern. These connections are essential for spiritual, ideal, governmental, and financial factors. In 1955 Pakistan, together with Iran, Irak, and Chicken, registered the Baghdad Pact, a protection design later known as the Main Agreement Company (CENTO) after Iraq's drawback. CENTO was buttressed in 1964 by a local design among Pakistan, Iran, and Chicken known as the Regional Collaboration for Progression (RCD), and financial cooperation actions overshadowed the protection factors of the countries' interaction. CENTO was disbanded in 1979 with the overthrow of Shah Muhammad Reza Pahlavi's govt in Iran, and the RCD contained. The RCD was successfully improved twenty six years ago as the ECO.
