Popular shopping centers in Saudi Arabia

Popular shopping centers in Saudi Arabia
Large, deafening open-air marketplaces where suppliers discuss a cup of tea with clients before bargaining over costs, while the hot mid-day sun surpasses down on booths packed with bright steel java containers and long streaming bishts (robes) on the market, and the aromatic scent of incense and spices or herbs encourages the buyer: these are the thoughts that come into your mind when a conventional Saudi souq (market) is described. Just a few years ago, Saudi clients bought nearly all of their outfits, furniture and food in these open-air souqs. These days, however, most Saudis do their everyday purchasing in the relaxation of contemporary, air programmed, multi-leveled departmental stores or huge marketplaces and only project into conventional souqs for special items, such as silver bracelets or carpeting.
