College Life in the Middle East, Male and Female together 

Bubble in our American universities, and sometimes it is easy to forget that the existence of colleges in other places which are managed in a manner different from ours. Go to university to become one of the most important parts of education in all parts of the Middle East, just like the United States, but here also seep into the culture of university life. During my time abroad in both Egypt and Jordan, I have found many variations of university life that will surprise many American students to hear, but that is normal for each of the Egyptians and the Jordanians. Classes here at very different times of the year compared with the United States, and spread through the exams several weeks, not just one. And is usually passed from Jordanian institutions month ahead or behind us - a typical American schools go from late August, December, and then from January to May.
